We are experts in Vendor Managed Inventory. R.F. Carlson has organized and participated in dozens of JIT, Kanban and other procurement programs over the past 30 years. We can customize a program that works for you.
Warehousing & Releases
Stocking locations in Sarasota, FL and Kennesaw, GA. We stock product for our customers and they release as demand requires. Very simple, very effective.
Packaging
Individual packaging, custom bag or box quantity, and fully customized packaging. Contact one of our sales representatives to find a packaging answer that fits your requirement.
Marking, Identification & Cutting
Some products require additional marking to ensure proper use. This is a service we offer — and in most cases it’s absolutely free.

How a stocking program usually starts
Most of our VMI and Kanban programs begin the same way: you send us a usage history or a bill of materials, we look at what you’re carrying today, and we come back with a stocking level and a release schedule. Nothing about it needs to be complicated.
- You send usage, part numbers, or a print.
- We quote, confirm lead times, and agree a stocking level.
- We hold the inventory in Sarasota or Kennesaw; you release against it as demand requires.
- Bar coding, EDI and customized packaging are added wherever they save you handling.
Marking, identification and cutting are included on most orders at no charge.
